The mission here at FBC Blum is quite simple, we want to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that every Christian is personally called to win people to Christ and then help them grow up in the Lord to become more like Jesus. We call this genuine discipleship. Our desire is that every member would be a mature, loving, self-initiating, reproducing, fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Many churches put on great programs and good worship services, those things are important, but we believe Christ’s church is called to invest in people, not programs and so our focus here will always be towards Christ and his people. Purpose as a Fellowship of Believers:

First Baptist Church Blum will strive to be a caring fellowship of believers that seek to know God and grow in His likeness by reaching out in His love and with compassion, sharing in the needs of other so that all might find hope in Jesus Christ.
